Terms & Conditions for Booking of Community Centres

The following terms and conditions apply to booking of Community Centres:

  1. Booking of Community Centres shall be open for all the residents of MCM area without any time limit, on first come first serve basis through the online portal.
  2. The booking party will be responsible for maintenance of Law and Order, Security arrangement, Traffic Control, and Parking of Vehicles within and outside the premises during the function, at its own cost.
  3. A license should be obtained from the Excise Department if alcoholic drinks are to be served in parties/programmes.
  4. The use of loud speakers/DJ would not be allowed outside the Community Centre, and as per the direction of the Supreme Court of India, the booking party must agree to the following terms:
    1. No noise pollution, such as loud band, fire crackers, DJ music etc., is allowed to be used between 10:00 PM and 6:00 AM.
    2. Dismantling of tents, loading of furniture/utensils, and all other activities of tent contractors should be done only after 6:00 AM.
    3. Violation of any of these conditions would amount to forfeiture of the security deposit.
    4. If permission is required from any government department, the user must obtain it at their own level. If anyone proceeds without government permission, they will be solely responsible, and the booking will be cancelled immediately with forfeiture of security and booking amount.
  5. The party should inform the office about any damage to Municipal property, if any, before departure/checkout.
  6. The booking party should vacate the premises before the expiry of the prescribed timings by removing all their belongings, tents, furniture, etc.
  7. The party shall not be allowed to keep their articles in the premises before check-in.
  8. Pasting of bills or posters on boundary walls is strictly prohibited.
  9. No firearms/weapons and crackers will be allowed within the premises of the building.
  10. MCM will not be responsible for any damage/loss due to natural calamities.
  11. If any booking is found fictitious or fraudulent, it will be cancelled forthwith; full booking charges and the security amount will be forfeited, and a penalty of up to 10 times the rate of prescribed booking charges may be levied.
  12. Digging holes in the cemented portion for fixing tent poles is not allowed. Damage caused due to breaking of tiles, breaking of windowpanes, theft/loss/breakage of fittings and fixtures, or spoilage of whitewash, tiles, flower pots, etc. noticed during the function is liable to be recovered from the security deposit; if the damage amount exceeds the security deposit, the booking party will be charged the extra amount.
  13. Parking arrangements will be made by the booking party at their own risk and cost.
  14. No commercial activities are allowed on the premises during the booking period. Anyone found indulging in such activities will forfeit full booking charges and the security amount, and a penalty of up to 10 times the prescribed booking charges may be levied.
  15. No booking will be allowed more than 3 months (approx. 90 days) before the date of booking, subject to the maximum advance booking window shown on the search page.
  16. Booking amount for each category (Antyodya families, native villagers, MCM staff, other than native villagers, etc.) is charged as per the rate list currently published for the selected Community Centre on this portal, and is subject to revision by competent authority from time to time.
  17. The security amount will be refunded after obtaining a non-damage report from the concerned EE.

  19. In case of any dispute, the decision of the Commissioner, MCM shall be final.
  20. MCM shall have the right to cancel any booking at any time up to the date of booking, without assigning any reason, and the full booking charges/security money will be refunded in such a case.
  21. The Community Centre may only be used for the purpose for which it was booked.
  22. The booking party has no right to sublet their booking to any other individual if they are unable to perform their programme for any reason.
  23. Booking is neither transferable nor changeable.
